Ministers need to bless, embrace and take leave of the Disciples they have gained, before any departure; for it significantly helps the growing Christians to continue faithfully in their calling in Christ (Gen. 48:10, Luke 24:50-51). It also symbolizes deep personal connection, comforting encouragement, and the commissioning of other to continue spreading the Gospel (Matt. 28:18-20, 1 Tim. 1:3).
Moreover, these ensure that those left behind are supported and empowered to carry on the work without fear, knowing that God is with us and that all who stay faithful to the end "will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."
(Ps. 46:7, Is. 41:9-10, Jas. 1:12).
PRAYER: Dear YHWH and Comforter of my soul, thank You for encouraging me with Your Living Word and the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life. Blessed be Your Holy Name, for you've made me a ministering vessel, called to embrace Your Disciples and equip them for the Great Commission, as an Evangelist, before departing to wherever You lead me; in Jesus' Name,
Amen.
