BOUND UNDER OATH

It is a serious or solemn commitment to stay bound under any oath, often made before God, which is considered unbreakable and legally binding on one's soul (Num. 30:2, 1 Sam. 1:11). Breaking an oath is also seen as a serious offense, which may hinder the fulfillment of a promise made (Eccl. 5:4-5, Matt. 5:33-37).
Also, addressing guilt associated with any oath made in haste or ignorance requires fulfilling the oath or offering prayers for mercy and grace, even if one is initially unaware of the full implications (Lev. 5:4).

PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, Heavenly Father and Gracious God, for keeping me bound with Your only begotten Son and Word, as His Bride and Your heir, by faith, in the Spirit. Please help me stay away from taking any oath that is against Your will, but remain equipped, motivated, and strengthened in Your service, all the days of my life,
Amen.
