SENDING A PRISONER WITHOUT CHARGES

Both in religious and civil law, an accused individual should not be sent for trial or detained indefinitely without a specific, written accusation and investigation (Deut. 17:4, Acts 25:16). It is unreasonable to imprison a man at all without a fair trial and specifying the charges against him, especially when there is no legitimate, documentable crime to present (Gen. 39:20, John 7:50-51).
Also, intimidating, detaining and assaulting a Minister proclaiming the Gospel of Salvation without a proper trial, is usually considered a violation of civic rights and God will take vengeance (Deut. 32:35-36, Acts 16:22–24 & 37 & 22:24-25). So, we should always endeavor to uphold the law and do what is right, in the right way and at the right time, wherever we find ourselves in life, as faithful Children of God and responsible citizens (Isa. 1:17, 1 Pet. 2:13-17).

PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, Heavenly Father and Gracious God, for keeping me away from false accusations and unlawful detention, even as a ministering vessel of the Holy Spirit. Please continue to protect and guide me as I remain determined to spread the Good News of Salvation to all, for the sanctification of souls;
Amen.

From Acts 25:27
