KEEPING GOD IN YOUR MIND

Keeping God at the center of your thoughts, values, and daily life, is essential to retaining Him in your knowledge (Deut. 6:5). Choosing to recognize the LORD as your Creator, Lord, and moral guide, rather than deliberately pushing Him out of your thoughts, helps guard you from developing a reprobate or debased mind that leads to wrong choices and harmful actions.
Therefore, make time for prayer, the study of Scripture, and spiritual reflection so that your mind remains aligned with God’s principles (Rom. 12:2). Use Godly wisdom as a filter for discerning what is right and wrong in your daily life, for this will help guard you against distractions and habits that can gradually push the knowledge of God out of your thoughts and routine (1 Kings 3:9, Ps. 119:11, Eph. 5:15–16).

PRAYER: Heavenly LORD, Abba Father, thank You for the knowledge of Your awesome presence in my life, which keeps my thoughts, values, and decisions aligned with Your Divine will. Please continue to strengthen my determination, as one who belongs to Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to know, honor, and always please You as the Lover of my soul. May I never exchange the knowledge I receive about You for the distractions and desires of this world. Keep my mind continually fixed on You and my life yielded to Your Divine purpose. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

From Romans 1:28
