APPREHENDED FOR PREACHING GOOD NEWS
"Sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to divide between soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, the Word of God is living and powerful, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Heb. 4:12)." This makes the guilty ones, denying Jesus' Divine resurrection from among the dead mortals, who remain stubbornly unrepentant, waste their limited time trying to stop the Good News of Salvation which we boldly declare in His Name, from spreading.
Moreover, self-righteous attitudes, false teachings, and inconsistent beliefs make many turn against the Truth lovingly disclosed to them; yet the humble who faithfully receive the Word, will be restored into the Body of Christ by Grace, as citizens of God's advancing Kingdom (Matt. 22:23, 2 Cor. 4:7).
PRAYER: Thank You, Heavenly Father, my soul's Keeper and Shade from the Sun, for in Your presence I am preserved from all evil (Ps. 121:5-7). Please continue to direct my path so I may not fall into the snare of the wicked, as I proclaim Your Word for the Salvation of souls, in Jesus' Name,
Amen.
From Acts 4:1-4
