MINISTERS SHOULDN'T LEAVE GOD'S WORD

Attending to the spiritual and physical needs of others in the Body of Christ is necessary for the unity and continuous growth of God's advancing Kingdom; yet, as channels of God's Word, ministering in His Holy Name, it's never desirable to neglect our Christ's Calling or designated ministries for any other service which might hinder us from living to the fulfillment of the Great Commission personally given to us (Rom. 12:10-11, Phil. 2:4). Realizing that growing Christians need moral support, practical help, and provisions, should move every vessel of God to bring up others through discipleship lovingly, so they may assist in rendering essential services as they grow in faith. This way, channels of God's Word will never wear out, trying to please God and love His people (Exo. 18:18, Deut. 1:13).
Therefore, we should "give ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the Word as good stewards of the manifold Grace of God," and we as parts of His body, will stay strengthened to reach out to all whom the Father has assigned us to bring to His Divine presence (1 Pet. 4:9-10).

PRAYER: Thank You, Ever-Gracious and Loving Father, for calling and anointing me to remain a channel of Your Word and Love, to all. Please keep me empowered and focused to serve in my gifting as I stay determined to proclaim the Gospel to all nations, in Jesus' Name,
Amen.

From Acts 6:2-4
