Worship should only be reserved for God, the Creator, as well as His Word and Son, Jesus Christ, who is One with Him. Elohim alone deserves reverence, devotion, and adoration, because no one can ever replace Him (Exo. 20:3, Is. 43:13). Also, when men seek to worship us because of the Power, Grace, and Anointing of God in our lives, we should endeavor to reject it and rebuke them when necessary, making them to realize we as fellow humans are only vessels of clay in the Hands of the Great I Am That I Am (Jer. 18:6, Acts 14:11-15, Eph. 2:10).
Therefore, we must not allow the praises of people and their desire to worship us, make us forget that we are nothing without God; yet by His Grace, Love, and Favor, we are who we are, in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior (John 15:5).
PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, Ever-Gracious God and Everlasting Father, for making me in Your Hands, a vessel anointed for Your mighty works. Please keep me humble as You uplift me to greater heights, so I may never accept any form of worship from men, but always see myself as an instrument in God's Hands,
Amen.
From Acts 10:25-26
