Acknowledging God's supremacy and avoiding taking glory to ourselves, keeps us away from His wrath; for we can do nothing without Him and by His Grace, we are who we are, in Christ Jesus our Lord (John 3:27 & 15:5).
Elohim, the Creator of all things will not give His glory to another (Is. 42:8). For this reason,we should never think too highly of ourselves but stay humble to give our Heavenly Father all the glory, honor, and adoration; for only He deserves it!
Moreover, when praised by anyone because of our position of authority, God-given qualities, or Spiritual Gifts, we should learn to reference it all to YHWH, making those who appreciate our efforts to know that the Great I AM is our strength, the source of our life, and the reason for our existence - so we may continue to live for His glory as His chosen generation who is sustained by grace, through faith in His Word.
PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, Merciful and Ever-Gracious Father, for keeping me humble for Your service, even as a vessel in Your hands. Please keep me focused as I remain determined to bring more souls to Your advancing Kingdom so I may never fall by the deceitful praises of anyone,
Amen.
