We are advised to "test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the World." Still, we should realize that testing the Spirit of God is irreverent, for we are not to tempt the LORD our God because no one can withstand His wrath (Deut. 6:16, Matt. 4:7, 1 John 4:1, Rev. 6:17). The deliberate refusal to fulfill any vow or commitment made before God and in the presence of His people, as well as conspiring to deceive His vessels, comes with instant judgment (Acts 5:3-4).
Therefore, we must expose what is done in the dark, not conspire to test the Holy Spirit by agreeing with another to deceive servants of the LORD deliberately, and we will always remain in the comfort of His Grace, Love, and Mercy as Heirs of His Kingdom (Eph. 5:11).
PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, LORD, Heavenly Father, for guiding me through Your Word, so I may understand all I need to know about the Holy Spirit, manifesting Your presence on Earth. Please keep me focused on doing Your will to the utmost extent, fulfilling every commitment I make in Your Holy Name,
Amen.
From Acts 5:8-9
