THOUGHT OF BUYING GOD'S GIFT

A gift is given cheerfully, from the depth of the heart, and usually is cherished by anyone who truly receives it; yet trying to purchase God's Gift, preserved for His Faithful Bride and chosen generation, with money or wealth acquired on Earth, to control or withhold, is wrong. The thought of it invites His wrath and judgment upon oneself, because it comes from a heart that has chosen only a great temporal life (Matt. 6:19-21). "Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow;" so trying to buy what the Heavenly Father favors His Anointed with, only reveals one's evil intention, expressing his jealousy, selfishness, and greed (Jam. 1:17).
Therefore, as Christians, we should always stay humble and patient, even as we hunger and thirst for the things of the Spirit, and never allow the temptation to use what we have been given to get what we want, to take control of our minds; for, the Father who has called and, through His Son, given us the Great Commission, will help us grow in the Spirit as we continue in the path of Truth and Righteousness, being vessels in His hands, anointed for His glory, if only we will ask, with faith (Rom. 8:25-26, Jam. 4:2).

PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, All Sufficient God and Gracious Father, for calling and circumcising me in the Spirit, to live for Your glory. Please guide my thoughts and grace my heart with contentment, as I grow in the Spirit, so I may never have the desire to compare material treasure, to the things of the Spirit.
Amen.

From Acts 8:20
