Faithful Ministers usually experience deep, righteous indignation and distress in their spirits, rather than mere human hatred, when seeing the worship of created things instead of the Creator (Is. 2:8, 2 Pet. 2:8). Behind idolatrous practices are various demonic influences, which defile a man and provoke the Holy Spirit, making His vessels express righteous anger towards such abominable acts (Hos. 4:12, 1 Cor. 10:20).
Furthermore, righteous anger is Divine, for it's the revelation of God's wrath and jealousy against the influence of the kingdom of darkness on His Creation, through His anointed, called to fulfill the Great Commission and subdue the efforts of the wicked on Earth (Ps. 7:11, Jud. 6:25-27).
PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, LORD, Heavenly Father, and Creator of all living in Heaven and on Earth, for separating me from every form of idol worship and evil practice. Blessed be Your Holy Name; please help me to always work according to Your will whenever my spirit becomes provoked at the sight of an idolatrous practice,
Amen.
