DEFENDING ONESELF

We understand through God's Word, Jesus' teachings, and Divine guidance, that there is a clear distinction between legally defending oneself against false charges, which is permitted, and taking the law into one's own hands, which is not. Christians receive Divine instruction to, "overcome evil with good," and the right to protect one's life with the Truth is supported (Acts 22:25-26).
Also, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, advises us, His Faithful, not to worry about how to defend ourselves when brought before authorities, promising that the Holy Spirit would guide our words (Luke 12:11).

PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, LORD, Heavenly Father, and Advocate of the Faithful, for always being there for me - protecting and defending me from every false accusation of the wicked one. Please, continue to guide my footsteps and direct my paths, as Your Beloved,
Amen.
