HOPING TO RECEIVE MONEY

Believers are encouraged to look to God, rather than people, for their financial security, because hoping to be paid can sometimes lead to corruption (Acts 16:19, Phil. 4:19). We should not set our hopes on wealth, for those motivated and eager to get rich fall into temptations and traps of the wicked (1 Tim. 6:9-10).
Furthermore, as Followers of Christ seeking the Kingdom of God primarily, we should remain generous and helpful to all in need, even as we continue to advise them to rely on God for provision and avoid the trap of greed (Matt. 5:42, 6:33, Acts 3:5-8).

PRAYER: Dear Abba Father and All-Sufficient God, thank You for always meeting me at the point of my needs and making me a channel of Your Love and Favor to all You lead me to. Please, continue to sustain me, for my hope and trust is in You alone, in Jesus' Name;
