LIVE BY FAITH

The Just are made right with God through faith and trust in the Son of God, by the Holy Father, not mere human efforts nor personal achievements, for the proud may depend on themselves and eventually will fall without help up, so be scattered (Isa. 8:14-15, Luke 20:18). Still, those who remain faithful to God, will live by His promises and flourish rooted in Streams of Life (Prov. 11:28, Hab. 2:4, Jer. 17:7-8).
We are not made righteous before God by trying to keep the law alone, because the righteous live by faith in the one who fulfilled it perfectly, Christ Jesus; for true faith keeps us trusting God, even in difficult seasons, without ever turning back to doubt nor sin (Gal. 2:16, 3:11, Rom. 3:20 & 23, Heb. 10:38). Being justified, as a Christian, means that God has made us right with Him through faith. It also means we continue to depend on Him daily, rather than proudly relying only on our own strength, understanding, or what we can see, yet (Prov. 3:5, Mark 10:15).

PRAYER: Dear YHWH, Gracious and Faithful God, thank You for Your redeeming Word and for the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life. Thank You for keeping me righteous and purified, through faith, as I surrender to Your divine will. Please continue to guide my steps, fight my battles, and work all things for my good as I live by faith in Christ Jesus, alone.
