SPEAKING PERVERSE THINGS

Uttering twisted, distorted, or untruthful words intended to mislead, particularly within a religious or moral context, is a defining characteristic of grievous wolves in sheep's clothing (Matt. 7:15, 2 Pet. 2:1-3). People who speak perversely, even from within a group of the apparently righteous, who teach distorted truth to draw away followers to themselves, represent deceivers from the kingdom of darkness who delight in encouraging falsehoods (2 Cor. 11:13-15, Rom. 16:17-18).
Moreover, perverse speech is ultimately identified as a tool of deception, often aimed at promoting self-interest by distorting the Truth (Prov. 16:28). Therefore, as channels of God's Word, we should avoid being yoked with those speaking twisted things, in order to keep the path of Truth and Righteousness illuminated for the Disciples (Prov. 2:11-15, 2 Cor. 6:14, Eph. 5:11, Phil. 2:15).

PRAYER: In Jesus' Name, thank You, Heavenly Father and Just God, for Your presence in me keeps me separated from every form of perversity and protected from its influence. Blessed be Your Holy Name, for you've made me a channel of Your Word, ordained to proclaim the Whole Truth for Your Salvation of all who wholeheartedly receive it,
Amen.
