PROFESSING TO BE WISE

Rejecting God, despite seeing evidence of His existence in creation and daily events of life, reveals a person who claims to be wise in his own eyes but becomes foolish before God. When people depend solely on human reasoning while ignoring the Lord, they exchange divine truth for empty beliefs which don't work for them, false ideas, and things with no eternal value (Prov. 1:7, 3:5-7, 1 Cor. 3:19).
Therefore, we must never assume that people know better than God, because relying on our own, limited understanding, can lead us into moral and spiritual confusion (Prov. 29:18, 1 Cor. 14:33). True wisdom and peace comes from humility, reverence, and submission to the Creator; for the fear of YHWH, is the foundation of knowledge and understanding (Ps. 111:10, Prov. 9:10, Job 28:28).

PRAYER: Dear Elohim, God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth and all that exists in them - glory, honor, and adoration belong to Your Holy Name, forever (Prov. 8:23). Please, keep my heart humble and faithful as I grow and prosper in every area of my life, so that I never claim to be wise before You but will always depend on Your perfect Wisdom.
