TRYING TO CHANGE THE GLORY OF THE INCORRUPTIBLE

When humanity exchanges the eternal, incorruptible glory of God for images made to resemble mortal humans, birds, animals, and reptiles, and chooses to worship created things instead of the Creator, they attempt to dishonor and change the glory of the incorruptible God. The glory of the LORD endures forever and can never fade away, because He is eternal, while all created things are temporary and subject to decay and death until born again through the Word of God (Ps. 104:31, 1 Pet. 1:23-25).
Furthermore, claiming to be wise while rejecting the Creator and turning to created things, leads to a darkened understanding and spiritual corruption (Rom. 1:22-25). Such rebellion separates people from experiencing God’s glorious presence, love, and divine protection.

PRAYER: Awesome and Incorruptible God, thanks for Your eternal glory and unchanging presence in my life. Help me remain faithful and to never exchange Your Truth for anything created. May my heart continually honor and worship You alone - the everlasting Creator - in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
